I remember when this bug existed in ios 4.X. I think ieven tried doing this and succeeded in ios4.X as well. I hope apple can and will fix this as i do passcode lock my screen. I always keep my phone with me at all times but it won't be good if someone can get in to my phone if i put it down, or mis place it or someone decided to permanently borrow it. Heha. I would not worry about this bug/trick/feature as long as you keep your phone by you at all times like i do.
