Hi Sarah,

First of all, I assume that Dónal and Bryan have recent, top-of-the-line iPads
*grin*. Seriously, though, you have a few different options. If you're in a
room which has an AirPlay receiver, such as an Apple TV, you can set up your
Keynote presentation to send over both video and sound via AirPlay. Even if
there is only an Apple Computer used for presentations, if it has software such
as AirServer on it, you can send your presentation to it via AirPlay.

Alternatively, if you have a VGA adapter cable to send the video to a
projector, you can always use a device like a Big JamBox portable bluetooth
speaker to play the sound.

Be aware that the recent iPads require a newer VGA adapter cable that is rated
for more power than the VGA adapters that worked for the iPad 2. And the
AirPlay solution probably doesn't work for a first generation iPad, since it
needs the resources of the newer versions of iOS.

The newer generation iPads by default will mirror apps (unless this is
specifically disabled) through the VGA out, so you can use this for app demos.

HTH. Cheers,

Esther
