Hi Sarah As I said in my last post, it's just disappeared, works fine. Neither Lynne nor I did anything to fix the problem. One minute it was broken and, just as suddenly, it wasn't. But I ain't gonna complain, for once something happened to cause the problem I had to just go away, and now it works right in any view. In fact, now I've become used to it, I find myself liking the modern view because it offers far more flexibility in terms of what, and how much detail, is displayed regarding items. The radio buttons which switch between songs, (although I wish Apple would move away from that particular definition of an audio track), albums, Playlists, etc., make iTunes far more customisable.
