Hello All,

Radium 3, an accessible internet radio player for the Mac, is reduced to $6.99
as part of a limited time launch/upgrade sale. It normally lists for $19.99.
Note that Radium 3 requires OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) and a 64-bit processor.
It supports many subscription services, including Sirius XM. The version 3
update notes specifically mention VoiceOver support. I haven't used this
recent version, but I was very impressed when the developers made accessibility
improvements to the original first version release of Radium. This was when it
was not possible to access the menu extras bar in Snow Leopards, and they
provided an alternative preference pane and sets of shortcuts in response to
requests from VoiceOver users.

There is a trial demo version of the program that you can download from their
web site, using the link to the Radium.zip file:

I think that with this updated version they will be distributing the app
exclusively through the Mac App Store, which is why the price is discounted, as
users who had older versions of the app, upgrade and move to the App Store
version. This also means that the older versions with support for Lion will no
longer be sold to new users.

Here's the MacUpdate page description:

Radium is an Internet radio player that's designed from the ground up to be
simple, intuitive, and lightweight. With its powerful search, thousands of
supported stations (including Sirius/XM and DI.fm/Sky.fm Premium), and the
ability to add your own streams, Radium will change the way you listen to
Internet radio.

HTH. Cheers,

Esther
