Hi Terry

Just to add slightly to the response you got from James. Tracking cookies are,
although often meant innocently, a pretty nasty threat. Google is known for
tracking cookies, and I don't think any browser is immune. Since the cookies
use the browser and not the operating system, it's not restricted to Windows,
Mac or anything else.

I would also add, however, in Lynn's defence that many people could save
themselves an awful lot of frustration by looking in the list archives. They
are extensive, and cover a wide range of topics now. Virus stuff is one of
most asked questions. It's not a banned question or anything, but it would
make people's lives easier if they check the archives. ;)
