Hi Terry Just to add slightly to the response you got from James. Tracking cookies are, although often meant innocently, a pretty nasty threat. Google is known for tracking cookies, and I don't think any browser is immune. Since the cookies use the browser and not the operating system, it's not restricted to Windows, Mac or anything else.
I would also add, however, in Lynn's defence that many people could save themselves an awful lot of frustration by looking in the list archives. They are extensive, and cover a wide range of topics now. Virus stuff is one of most asked questions. It's not a banned question or anything, but it would make people's lives easier if they check the archives. ;) <--- Gordon Smith ---> E-Mail: <[email protected]> Telephone: United Kingdom: Free Phone: 0800 8620538 Europe and other non-specified: +44 1642 688095 United States Of America And Canada: +1 646 9151493 Australia: +61 38 8205930 Or: +61 39 0284505 Fax: +44 1642 365123 Follow Us On Twitter: <http://twitter.com/maciosaccess> Skype: <callto:mac-access-dot-net> ------------------------------ On 17 Mar 2013, at 12:53, Terry clasper <[email protected]> wrote: well actually not necessary as somebody has already been kind enough to answer the question! <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>.
