One of the longest standing annoyances for me with Voiceover on the Mac is
the way, in Text Edit, Mail and all other Editing applications Voiceover
will say new line in Say All mode. Whilst I welcome this feedback whilst
editing documents, I find it irksome , unnecessary and annoying when I am
trying to listen to anything in say all. This presently causes me to send
any document of length to Windows for reading at the moment.

On iOS voiceover is far less intrusive, and for example in Mail rather than
constantly annoying me with new line whilst reading a message Voiceover adds
a less intrusive click. I would settle for this on the Mac, though the use
of a pause as with Windows screen readers would be even better.

I have googled this and although there are loads of other people complaining
about this I have not found anybody who has an answer. Is there anybody who
has managed to get voiceover to stop saying new line with Say all?
