Alternatively, you can try Tables, which you may find more intuitive to use than the iWorks Numbers program: http://www.x-tables.eu/ There's a 30-day free trial download, and the single user price for a license is about $40, or $27 if you are eligible for an educational discount. This is what most peopled used before Numbers was made accessible, so the format reflects feedback from VoiceOver users from that period. HTH.
