Hi Sarah and Christian,

Easy Music Converter is supposed to be able to handle audio extractions from
MP2 to MP3 and M4A, but I haven't tried it, and I don't know of anyone who has.
I know that VoiceOver users have previously used the free MPEG Streamclip
application to extract audio tracks this way, and that's why I gave that link
in my reply. I'll give the Mac App Store URL for Easy Music Converter.
Christian, this app was very recently free for a few days, so a number of
people downloaded it, since it is designed to handle batch music conversions
and is supposed to support a wide variety of file types. Price has been
steadily going up since then, and is currently $7.99. I know that a few of the
specs don't exactly match the app description, such as the statement that it
will run in Snow Leopard (10.6.6 and above). Here's the link if you want it:
• Easy Music Converter (current price $7.99)
https://itunes.apple.com/app/easy-music-converter/id572507484?ls=1&mt=12

Cheers,

Esther
