hi Randy, oh no, I am far from confused. actually I am quite sorted out now! thanks for telling me that there were menus to access the ap store, I did not know this. I did find the log-out / log-in choices in the store menu and was able to log out of my husband's account which was on my computer and log in to the store as myself, then the updates went smoothly. not only that, I will now more easily be able to navigate the store now that I have access to the menus. <smile>
