Actually, Amazon could do this but it would cost them 30 percent of
each saile because it would be considered an in-app purchase. It's an
interesting business model so no-one is really at fault here. It's
just a business practice. It is a real convenience to be able to buy
while inside the app but there is a price to pay from the provider of
content.
