Hi Bill, How are you? Are you by any chance able to 2 finger double tap on the track pad at the front of your keyboard? Sometimes I accidentally turn the speech off by doing this, and a 2 finger double tap will turn it back on again. I'm not great at explaining these things so if anybody knows what I mean and can explain it clearly, please do.
