I think you can use the keystroke VO shift down arrow to interact.

Subject: Using Brailliant With VoiceOver On The Mac

Hi Everyone,

As I mentioned recently, I received a Brailliant BI 40 last Friday, and my
purpose in getting it was to use it with both my iMac and iOS devices. I
plugged it into my iMac via USB cable, and Braille showed up right away, so
that was excellent! However, when I went to check my mail, I had trouble
navigating the messages table. So, my question is this. Since when using
VoiceOver speech we must interact with tables, how do we do this when using
a Braille display? Any assistance with this would be most appreciated!
Thanks!

Desi
