Hello Carol,

I'm guessing you needed to interact with the table. Numbers has layers. It
maybe that the file opened at the lowest level. On top of the outline and
toolbars is the layer with your table. If you stepped up to that level. You
would have been navigating around the cells of the table.

I'm sorry, there's no shortcut to learning a new screen reader. Each screen
reader can only guess what defaults suit most people. As our screen readers are
the most important method of access we all want to dive in with the apps. But
we gain far more by exploring our screen reader. Because when we open a new
app. We are armed with different screen reader moves to gain an understanding
of the controls and layout of the app. This concept of interacting with areas.
Or as I see it. Stepping up to the next level. Is quite Aileen to Windows users
in the beginning. But soon you will accommodate these differences. Or at least,
I'm getting there myself.

Good luck.

Gena

As the Mac Access Dot Net administrators, we do our very best to ensure that
the Mac-Access E-Mal list remains malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and
worm-free. However, this should in no way replace your own security strategy.
We assume neither liability nor responsibility should something unpredictable
happen.
