Ok. for those of you who use down cast I found out thanks to down cast on twitter where podcasts are stored.
from the finder hit go and paste in ~/Library/Containers/com.jamawkinaw.downcast.mac/Data/Library/Application Support/com.jamawkinaw.downcast.mac/.Downloaded_Media and hit enter.
