Hi Candie,

I had actually tried all those suggestions and you're absolutely spot on they 
do usually work.  However in this instance it was something to do with an 
HTMl-based log on window for a hotel WIFI network.  Once I logged on and closed 
the resulting home page, it resolved itself.
