Hi Trev,

Go to VoiceOver Utility with VO + F8, or FN + VO + F8 if you have not
set the F keys to normal keys under Keyboard settings.
Then navigate to the table with VO + Right Arrow, and arrow down to "Speech".
Then, VO + Right Arrow to the "Hints" Tab, and press VO + Space on it.
Finally, VO + Right Arrow until you hear "Speak Hints", and press VO +
Space to uncheck the box, then close the window with Command + W.
That should fix it!
