I'm looking at a new Mac Mini to replace my 4-year-old one in time for Mavericks this fall. I also have a Windows machine that needs replacing, and I would like to just have one machine, not two. Yes, I still need Windows for some things. But here is the question. I understand that the magic in the fusion drive is all in OSX, i.e. if I run bootcamp and a duel boot system, Windows won't know anything about the fusion drive as such. Does anybody know if it is even possible to put a duel boot system on a machine with one of these fusion drives? I wouldn't expect the Windows side to even see the flash drive part of the set up. I'd be happy if the OSX side got 500GB of the mechanical drive and the 128gb of the flash storage, and leave the other 500gb for the bootcamp partition. Is that possible?
