Ftp is file transfer protocol. This is used to transfer files to let's say a website Think of an ftp folder like something in your finder. You can add to and, if the ftp owner lets you, remove stuff. You can upload or copy stuff from your finder to the ftp folder, like a podcast file, or picture for your site. there's regular ftp and secure or SFTP. if you mean tffp that's my podcast, but I'm thinking you meant ftp so there you go.
