Hi Brenda,
They are notoriously difficult to update.
I haven't done it for a while but, I believe once you've chosen the correct
update, the next step is right at the very bottom of the page.
If you use Audioboo, Andre Lewis did a very good podcast about it.

Hello. How can you tell when the small jambox needs updated? It's plugged in
right now, but when I go to the jawbone updater page, I go round and round
in circles. I can't tell if it needs to be updated or not. It sees my
device, but I can find no update buttons.
