Hi all, Ok this should be a trivial exercise but I’m doing something daft. I have a mac running Mountain lion however I need to put Lion back onto it in such a way that it can be dual-booted. The mac as one SSD which runs the main OS and a 2TB HD which I will use as my Lion partition.
All sounds fine. I’ve downloaded the Lion installer and gone through the package contents to the Shared Items folder and copied out the relevant DMG. I’ve run Disk Utility and gone through all steps which should in theory result in Lion being installed on the 2TB HD. However, Disk Utility reports an error during this process which says that the disk I want to use cannot be unmounted. I’m missing something ehre, but does anyone know a way around this? The only reason I want Lion back on this thing is that the makers of Protools and/or Apple have broken accessibility in PT11 and I want to put PT10 on a Lion partition. The things we have to do eh? *smile* Thanks in advance, Dónal <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>.
