Hi Well, I lived to tell the story. LOL!
I went into voiceover utilities and did some reassigning of command keys for the pac mate. I didn't like the fact right and left panning was done with whiz wheels. So I reassigned the first router button for right panning and the last router button on the right end for left panning just like it is for when i am using the pac mate with ordinary reading when the whole unit is together.
