Hi Laurie, To delete a contact on your phone, double-tap on the contact you wish to delete. Then locate the edit button which is in the upper right-hand portion of the screen, just below the status line. Double tap it, and then move to the bottom of the screen, and just above the dock, you should find a Delete Contact button. Double tap on it, and Voila! The contact is deleted, and I think you are then back in your contacts list. For other types of editing, you must double-tap the Done button, but I'm pretty sure this is not the case if you completely delete a contact. HTH
