And yet further to what has been said! *smile* To make sure that the shortcuts work properly when you go to VO+f8 you should be on the general option arrow right until you find [allow voice over to be controlled by apple scripts] and make sure that is checked! Then you can press command+8 to take you straight to commanders to switch them on! Also if you are using Mountain Lion you have the option to use either [option key] or even both I have it set to use both! HTH Colin
