Are there any new voiceover features?
Original message:
Hi All,
Now that OS X 10.9, AKA Mavericks, has finally entered public release,
it is acceptable to mention it on this list without violating the NDA.
:) That being said, I want to gently suggest that VoiceOver users wait
to upgrade for a little while, as there are still some issues
unresolved from the accessibility testing process.
While I personally do not consider any of these game breaking, per se,
they are significant enough to cause some confusion and annoyance. I
suggest just waiting until at least the first general update to the
system before committing yourself. In particular, iBooks accessibility
is not all that might be hoped-for. It is being actively worked on, and
will be improved in the coming weeks.
Warmest regards,
Zack.
