Hi Henry, Assuming you have your VO typing echo set to speak “Characters” or “Characters and Words,” you should expect to hear the character spoken as soon as you press each key. The setting is found in the Verbosity / Text section of the VO Utility.
Is the delay happening for you in all edit fields, or just edit fields in a specific app or website?
