Hi! I'm a CCleaner user myself across platforms.
Firstly I haven't used this utility for the Mac of late, it han't been updated for a while as far as I'm aware though I'm going to have a look once I've finished writing this eMail <smile>. Secondly, before anyone uses CCleaner or anything else its a good idea to backup your Mac and of course! the Mac is one of those machines that has the auto backup facility built-in in the form of Time Capsule, if you backup your system then - Should CCleaner or anything else do any damage - you can "Restore" from the backup and continue as though nothing had happened. When using CCleaner, use the "Analyse" function to have CCleaner do an analysis of your machine if you're unsure of what you should clean or change yourself.
