Hi Dane,
The button is not visible when you haven't typed anything yet. After you
type at least one number, the delete button appears above the "3"
button, in the upper right corner of the keypad.

If you're dialing a number using the keypad of your iPhone, how do you delete
numbers before you dial?
In earlier versions of the IOS I remember a "Delete" button near the right
bottom of the keypad, this doesn't seem to be available any longer?
