Hi Anne -

Even when I interact and have Quick Nav off, I still have to use VO with the
cursor keys to move the cursor. I do find at times that the cursor keys do not
always do what I expect, and I have to turn Quick Nav on and off to get them
performing correctly again. An example of this can be in the email programme,
where I open a message to read, and the cursor keys read the text virtically
instead of by line. By this I mean that the letters of each word have been put
on separate lines like this:

t
h
i
s
f
o
r
e
x
a
m
p
l
e

After turning Quick Nav on and off, the words revert back to reading line by
line.

Sometimes when in text fields, VO will say things like "insertion point at
beginning of text." Perhaps this is something to do with my problem, as when it
comes to wanting to add text in an existing text area on a web page, I need the
insertion point at the end of what is already there -

As the Mac Access Dot Net administrators, we do our very best to ensure that
the Mac-Access E-Mal list remains malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and
worm-free. However, this should in no way replace your own security strategy.
We assume neither liability nor responsibility should something unpredictable
happen.
