Hello Esther, You are a marvel! Many thanks for the attached. I tried your suggestion of setting the fusion network adapter to automatic and that fixed my problem of fusion 5 on Mavericks not connecting to the Internet. My Windows 7 virtual machine takes a long time to boot up but then it works reasonably fast. As I seldom use Windows I will not upgrade to fusion 6 at this time. So many many thanks for the attached and also for your help to access "mouse over" items on the sing Chandlers Ford web site. Best regards....
