Folks, Just a heads-up on a very common problem under Mavericks.
I was working on a Numbers spreadsheet this evening. I’ll digress for a second to say that the new version is a big improvement. Anyway back to the point. I got a message saying that my machine was out of application memory. I only had Numbers, Safari and Mail open and I have 16GB in this machine. It would seem that this problem is rife and lots have experienced it. As yet there doesn’t seem to be either a solution or an explanation from Apple. I was lucky that I’d been saving every 3 or four minutes so I only lost three rows of data. Anyway it’s just a heads up that this is known, it happens so save a little more often than you are maybe used to doing.
