Ok all - got this sorted now. Firstly I tried pairign to some Nokia Bluetooth speakers that I have, and they connected sraight away.
So, I tried again with my sound bar. Firstly I turned on Bluetooth on this Mac, and had it search for devices. Then I pressed the Bluetooth button on the sound bar's remote, and the Mac found it. I think maybe the problem was that I had been pressing the Bluetooth button on the bar's remote before asking my Mac to search for devices, and this didn't work, but having the Mac begin to search, and then turning on the bar has made the difference. - Andy On 21 Nov 2013, at 05:26, wayne17a <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi , I to am having the same problem with my jam box not showing up > in the menu so any advice would be good thanks > > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Shannon Reece > Sent: Wednesday, November 20, 2013 6:18 PM > To: OS X & iOS Accessibility > Subject: Re: Bluetooth on the Mac > > Andy, > This thread is fascinating because, yesterday I thoght I might try to pair > my Mac to my Jawbone jambox. the mac didn't see it at all.
