Hi! I bought some Nickel Zinc rechargeable batteries 2 months ago and I've had them in my Apple Mouse, Apple Keyboard and Apple Trackpad connected to my Mac via bluetooth for a month exactly today.
Battery levels for each device are still at 100% and this is something I've never seen before. Up until I installed these Nickel Zinc batteries I was using Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable NCHD batteries - or in other words the type that Apple sell with their battery charger accessary - and I was finding that battery level would fall over a period of 6 weeks, I was recycling batteries every 6-8 weeks. So the next thing will be just how many cycles I'll get out of these Nickel Zinc batteries? The other advantage of Nickel Zinc over the older style NCHD type is the voltage is at 1.6 rather than 1.2. If you wish to discuss the matter of these batteries further then write to me privately or perhaps go onto the techno-chat eMail list. ********** Dane Trethowan Skype: grtdane12 Phone US (213) 438-9741 Phone U.K. 01245 79 0598 Phone Australia (03) 9005 8589 Mobile: +61400494862 Fax +61397437954 <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>.
