Exactly and such a thing has happened. I use the shortcut of ctrl-f8 to move focus to the status bar.
for some reason the shortcut stopped working this morning. I looked in the keyboard preference pane under system preferences under Shortcuts to see whether or not this particular shortcut was disabled though how it possibly could be I had no idea. As it happens the checkbox next to the shortcut was checked so what the hell was going on? Time to restart the machine and thankfully - after the bootup process had completed - the ctrl-f8 shortcut was working again as though nothing of any import had ever happened, go figure <smile>. ********** Dane Trethowan Skype: grtdane12 Phone US (213) 438-9741 Phone U.K. 01245 79 0598 Phone Australia (03) 9005 8589 Mobile: +61400494862 Fax +61397437954 <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to [email protected] You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/>.
