Hello James, The best OCR apps for iPhone are TextGrabber and Prizmo. Prizmo is easier to use freehand, but TextGrabber normally gives better results and is faster, as long as you use something like a StandScan Pro or ScanBox to provide optimal lighting and positioning.
You can buy the StandScan Pro from: <http://standscan.com/index.php/product/standscan-pro.html> It’s adbvisable to add the 12 v battery pack to your order as it provides better lighting. If you’re in France, you can get the StandScan Pro from CECIAA for €30.
