Hello, Is anyone successfully using iBooks on Maverick with VoiceOver? Or is iBooks on Maverick not yet fully accessible?
First I have just opened a newly purchased iBook on Maverick and find that the scroll area contains 4 html files each corresponding to different parts of the book. I do not understand what is going on here. Opening a different book only has 3 html files in the scroll area. Second if I press command+t to open the table of contents I see a new window containing a table (I know it is a new window because I see it in the list of windows displayed by VO+F2). Unfortunately if I interact with that table the table goes away and the window containing that table closes. the same thing happens if I look at bookmarks. I mostly want to access the table of contents and use that to go to a desired section of the book. I also want to stop reading the book now and later return to where I left off. Is this possible on Maverick? Fortunately iBooks works much better on my iPhone 3GS under IOS 6. Should I expect iBooks to work OK with VoiceOver on Maverick? If so what am I doing wrong? Many thanks.
