Hello everybody
This is one of those times when people are going to think me churlish. But please remembw that the Windows discussion is off topic for this group. How ever innocent these posts may seem at the start of the thread, the Windows discussion always gets out of hand. So, just to be clear on this. No more Windows chat on this list please. This is an iOS and OS X group. I know that there will be people who don't agree with our stance on this istsue. But we have to think to the geaearter good. So to sum up, Windows is off topic for this group. That will not change regardless of what otheh list owners decide to do. So please, no more Windows chat in this group. That policy will not change. Kind Regards

Subject: love to have windows

                Hi all

just to confirm to put windows on my mac I need vmfusion and of
course a windows cd.
does this work with windows 8 point one or is it still windows 7.
it would be grate to have the windows option on my mac.
I really must give this a try.
main reasons
the mac is portable to carry when I am away say at a chess event.
also the battery life if so good.
having the windows option as well as the mac saves taking a net book.
thanks and what a good list we have.
