I have been playing this game for months and I love it. It does have a few quirks but all in all it is pretty accessible. I have completed around 50 levels so far. I am using the Apple Bluetooth keyboard which makes it much easer. I completed the level you are talking about way before IOS 7 so I can't go back and try it again.
