For one thing it has key strokes so you can zip stuff from the finder. You define your own so for example select a bunch of folders and if you have it set up, hit cmd shift r to rar the stuff, or cmd shift option z to zip or what ever floats your boat. Also it does not take up much of a foot print, plus it's $18 compared to what SArchiver was when it existed. I think that was $30 or so? I can't remember now. I baught it on sale 3 years ago. but look up entropy in the mac app store. There is a free trial on the developer's web site if you want to give it a try.
