Hello Stuart, I’m no expert with iBooks, but this is how I make it work for me.
When I open iBooks, I’m on Library list where I can interact and select a book. I press Cmd-o and the book opens. This is where it gets complicated. When you first open a book, it will open at the beginning. You have to find the scroll area and interact with HTML content. VO-a will read continuously through one chapter. There is a Next Chapter command, but it doesn’t seem to work. I can display the chapter I want by pressing Cmd-t to show the Table of contents, then turning cursor tracking off and interacting with the table. I navigate to the place I want, bring the mouse (VO-Cmd-F5), do a VO-Shift-Space and turn cursor tracking back on. I then locate the scroll area and interact with each HTML content area until I find the right one. Every time I select another chapter, it seems to add it to the number of HTML areas displayed.
