I would like to query the group to see if anyone is successfully running VoiceOver with Mavericks on a MacBook Pro of similar specs. 2GB RAM sounds low. I don't want to attempt an update to Mavericks and have serious problems. Looking up on the Apple site, Mavericks is listed as being able to run on this system, but of course that does not mean VoiceOver will be responsive and such.
