No no no no no. You're still in the Google Chrome browser. Think of it
like this.
You have your main browser, which in this case is Google Chrome.
Technically speaking, one could use Chrome without the use of Chromevox,
just using Voiceover. In fact, seeing that I normally just use Safari, I
don't even have Chromevox installed there. If I need Chromevox, I just use
my actual Chromebook, but anyway, back to my explaination... you then have
Chromevox which is the screen reader for the Chrome browser. So Chrome, is
the actual name of the browser. Chrome, vox! is the screen reader. It's
kind a like saying, OSX is to Chrome, as Voiceover is to Chromevox. The
reason that I point this out, in regards to the bookmarks is to say, yes,
your Safari bookmarks indeed do! sync down to Google Chrome, yes, you're
exactly right, but! just like you would with any web browser, be it Chrome,
be it Safari, be it IE on Windows, be it Firefox, be it Opera, which btw
isn't accessible that I know of, shucks, bottom line is, they all have their
own built in ways as well of handling bookmarks. So! in other words, if you
bookmark a page say, in Safari, it's not going to automatically put it in
Chrome, unless you tell it to automaticly import it over. Point is, yes.
You have your bookmarks from Chrome as well as Safari. The only reason
you're seeing your Safari bookmarks inside of Chrome is because they were
automatically imported over upon your first launch of the Chrome browser.
Does that kind a make sense?
