Hi Sarah I guess this is one of those times when I need to de-rustify my VoiceOver keyboard commands. I haven’t used Drag & Drop functions. I frequently use the new “Select” function to move things like non-contiguous items, but that isn’t the same as Drag & Drop.
So, from memory, the old version of Drag & Drop was to highlight the items, then press VoiceOver+,, or VoiceOver+. depending on how you want to process the item. I’ve just checked the VoiceOver help section on Drag & Drop, and it talks about holding down the mouse or trackpad button and dragging the item. From the rest of the description it appears that this text is just part of the Apple OS X generic help, not specifically VoiceOver related. My quest goes on, but hopefully I can find what I want eventually. Failing that can you use the old method? I did the old method of drag drop to create my boot disk successfully so I figure this would help a bit. Take care.
