yeah there is, but it's not a vo command. Hit cmd option numrow 0 and brows the 
activity viewer in mail. You will get a gory detail of what's up. I just wait 
until I hear the ding as I"m on a 15 mbps down connection so for now for me 
getting mail is a breeze

 I have movies on the Mac with description and titles all mixed up, is there an 
app that will correct the information?

There was a discussion regarding an inexpensive mp3 tagger in the archives but 
I can't really remember what it was called. Everyone on the list uses it. I  
have even tried music brains. stay away from that as it is totally inaccessible.
