Laurel,

It works well for the most part from what I hear. I personally had a lot of trouble getting the different patches to work. I found some of them in my patch list, but nowhere near! the amount that it clames it should have had. Yes, I definitely did let it go through its little ordeal and download all 8 or whatever gigs worth of samples. Even still though, I see a few pianos, maybe a few organs, maybe one or two string samples, and that's about it. No woodwinds, no brass, no purcussion, none a that. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and attempted at least 3 or 4 times over the past few months to get it working, but I never was very impressed with what I got with it.

I dono though, maybe XPand2 has just spoiled me in ProTools, along with the Piano Tech 4 Stage plugin.

Chris.

Subject: the MainStage 3 app for the mac

This is a music app for the mac available from the app store. I know it can be used by itself, and its sounds, instruments and loops, can be used with Garageband. Does anybody in this community have any information regarding the Mainstage app's accessibility? I'm primarily interested in the softwear instruments and loops it has to offer.
Thanks
Laurel
