Hi Geoff, Ah, this gives me several options then. I haven't used VO j much before and can see why it's helpful now.
I also haven't used Safari Reader before. I did "add to safari reading list" for one article from Vienna, now I wonder how I get to that article in Safari? I can find the "toggle reader" item in the toolbar, and I can find select previous/next items in reading list from the bookmarks menu but these items are dimmed. Does that mean the article hasn't been added to the reading list? Or is there something else I need to do? Thanks, Catherine On 5/3/14, Geoff Stephens <[email protected]> wrote: > Catherine - > If, in the Vienna General Preferences, you check > "Open links in external browser", when you are arrowing through the > headlines, press enter and the article will open in your default browser. > You can then try to invoke the reader if your browser is Safari or WebKit, > to make it more easily readable. > > I also find it helpful to set the "Mark current article read:" check box to > "after a short delay" so that I can quickly move through the list of > headlines, marking each article read that I do not choose to open.
