Hi Gary, If you're asking about the location of the "equals" key on the NumPad portion of a full size desktop Mac keyboard, it is just below the "F17" key. The NumPad keys fall in the four columns below the keys from F16 through F19.
Apple has a chart of the NumPad Commander Default Assignments you can view at: http://help.apple.com/voiceover/vo/en/VONumPad.html If you navigate through, you'll hear each of the keys announced in each of the four columns along with their default functions with no modifier keys. To learn the key assignments for the different modifier keys, just navigate to the desired heading level 2. These are grouped for modifier keys of "None", "Command", "Option", "Control", "Shift", and "NumPad 0". HTH.
