I personally have never tried CCleaner for Mac, so I’m not sure. There are a number of utilities which “Claim”, and that is the operative word here, to “Clean” your Mac’s drive, getting rid of all of the junk that some messy apps and some messy parts of the OS leave behind. One of the best, and certainly one of the most configurable, is “Cocktail”. That one gives you exactly what it’s doing, rather than just telling you it’s cleaning the Mac. CleanMyMac is a very powerful utility though.
