Glenn,
So, open up the message thread in the messages app. Find the part of the
thread you want to forward. After each message you'll see a more info
button. If you double tap on this, then down at the bottom center of the
screen, directly above your home key is a forward button. Double tap this,
and you're on your way. Just for your info, the icon doesn't visually say
forward. It's a picture of a little arrow pointing up.

Subject: forwarding a text message
Hi,
I got some picture attachments from someone, and I would like to forward
them on to someone else.
This is on my iPhone 5, using the latest IOS.
There is the edit, but forwarding was not an option.
Under actions, there was only delete or activate, which is basically
opening
the message.
When the message is open, I don't find forward as an option.
Thanks for any ideas.
Glenn
