hello there. you should just have to plug it in. It should see it and label it 
as a drive on your desktop where the main mac drive is. You can then open it 
and create folders in there and copy whatever you want to it. it should be 
already formatted if not just send another email to the list and I am sure 
someone can tell you how to do this. You may also have to go into preferences 
by hitting command and the comma from the desktop. Go into general in the 
toolbar  and then check show external drives on desktop if it is not. Hope this
