Hi all -

I'm trying to participate in a college chat room; I've installed the plug in,
and although the hardware check says my Mac is compatible, it reports the
following about Java:

"Java installed: FALSE version: null Java version is <142 or not installed/not
enabled.

As I need Java working ok for the chat room, can anybody tell me what the above
means about Java, and what if anything I need to do. I've checked under
preferences, and Java is enabled, as is allow internet plug ins, so not sure
what else to do? -

Andy
